Ostatnie sześć miesięcy to trzy przebojowe single Fontaines D.C. wydane w kultowym wydawnictwie Rough Trade. W tym czasie zdążyli także stać się ulubieńcami Steve’a Lamacqa z BBC 6, zagrać wybitne trasy z IDLES, Girl Band czy The Horrors i odwiedzić najważniejsze festiwale w Europie. Jednym z nich był OFF Festival w Katowicach – występ chłopaków na scenie wypełnionego po brzegi namiotu Trójki został przez wielu dziennikarzy i uczestników zgodnie nazwany jednym z największych pozytywnych zaskoczeń edycji 2018.

The last six months have seen Fontaines D.C. release three hotly received double A-side singles, both of which were named as singles of the week by Rough Trade, and garnered early support from the likes of Steve Lamacq and others on BBC 6 Music, as well as earning feature space from every major Irish publication. Now they're back with the release of 'Too Real', the fourth two-track and 7" release from the Irish quintet. Fontaines D.C. met in Dublin, influenced and driven in equal measure by the rich history of their hometown’s counter-culture, their response has been to make concise and immediately authentic indie-punk that has done anything but fall on deaf ears. The band have gone from strength-to-strength with each release, and with a vast array of critical acclaim, renowned live shows, a series of sold out releases behind them and their recent signing to Partisan, the new single and forthcoming dates stand as a huge statement of intent, which is not to be ignored.
